Williams & Williams is a bankruptcy law firm that has been assisting clients in Kern and Inyo Counties with their financial problems for more than 45 years. Whether the problem is a foreclosure, a wage levy, tax problems, credit cards, doctor bills, or a second mortgage, we can help.
I was born in the military, and the family returned to Bakersfield after the Korean War. I attended local schools, graduating from Foothill High School, Bakersfield College, and Cal State Bakersfield, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Public Administration.
Growing up I was active, participating in Little League and on athletic teams in high school and college. My father, in addition to being an attorney, was also the California League attorney and president of the Bakersfield Dodgers, a minor league baseball team. I was the baseball park manager for three seasons, where I met many future Los Angeles Dodgers.
After finishing college, I attended law school at Santa Clara University, and after passing the bar exam, immediately joined my father’s law firm in 1976, creating Williams & Williams. I specialize in filing chapter 7 and chapter 13 cases, and have saved hundreds of homes from foreclosure, and discharged million of dollars of debts, including taxes, credit cards, personal loans and medical bills.
